USPS post office locations will be closed on Monday, September 7, 2026, for Labor Day. Regular mail delivery and retail services will resume Tuesday, September 8, 2026. While locations are closed, USPS.com and self-service kiosks at select post-office lobbies may still provide certain services.

USPS observes Labor Day on Monday, September 7, 2026. All USPS post office locations will be closed that day, and regular mail delivery and retail services will resume on Tuesday, September 8, 2026.

Services available while post offices are closed

Customers can use USPS.com for selected services, including ordering stamps and free USPS boxes, Hold Mail, Change of Address, PO Box rental or renewal, and Click-N-Ship. Self-service kiosks are available in select post-office lobbies and may support postage printing, stamp purchases, package weighing and mailing, and tracking information; availability is not universal.
